Oct 16: Health Issues

I've had a cold and cough for nearly a week now.  Fortunately I have some antibiotics with me so hoping their effects kick in soon.  Then after the morning drive Alan was struck by a tummy upset.  Absolutely no idea what caused it, but he spent the rest of the day in bed, only resurfacing for dinner.

The weather was warm and sunny, so we lounged around in the tent watching the birds and animals as they meandered amongst the tents.  

I still did both game drives, and today's special treats included getting close and personal with a herd of buffalo, find a couple of lazy male lions people-watching, watching elephants drinking at a waterhole, and as darkness descended our leopard left guarding yesterdays carcass for a drink of water.  Too dark to capture with the camera, so must just store that one in the memory bank.
